Dance Movement Therapy

Movement as support for well-being

Ask about therapy

Dance movement therapy concerns the psychotherapeutic use of movement with the aim of stimulating and increasing emotional, social, cognitive and physical integration, bringing benefits to the individual’s well-being.

The main objective is to improve psycho-motor cognition by using dance as a tool, not by replacing medical or psychological interventions, but by supporting and following paths linked to affectivity, sensitivity and emotion.

Dance movement therapy offers a wide area of practice. It is aimed at children, adolescents and adults, and is applied in education and rehabilitation with people who have relational or psychological difficulties, physical or sensory disabilities.
